COMPASSION:
Compassion comes in many forms and can be observed throughout all cultures, religions and across all of time. Like love, compassion is however hard to define and can only really be known once it has been felt though experience.
For as obvious and logical as it may seem for some of us to try and find compassion during difficult emotional trigger points in our lives, we all know that it may be the simple solution, but it is definitely not as easy as it sounds.
Practicing compassion could sometimes initially create even more confusion when we become conscious of this new-found path towards healing. Questions may arise, like:
how does one act from a space of compassion without sacrificing another aspect of self?
How can a compassionate response bring justice to those who are causing harm?
